In 2007, PKN ORLEN SA built 8 new installations for producing diesel oil and esters in the storage facilities in Sokółka, Gdańsk, Ostrów Wielkopolski., Szczecin, Nowa Sól, Warsaw-Mościska, Wrocław and at the road terminal in Płock.

In June 2007, the Company accepted for implementation an investment project related to the improvement of effectiveness of crude oil extrusion from salt caverns in IKS Solino.

At the end of 2007, the Company consolidated its transport companies by merging ORLEN Transport Płock, ORLEN Transport Kędzierzyn Koźle, ORLEN Transport Nowa Sól, ORLEN Transport Szczecin, ORLEN Transport Słupsk and ORLEN Transport Olsztyn into one company under the name of ORLEN Transport.

In 2007, ORLEN Group commenced a Value-Building Programme and Operating Integration Project of the Lithuanian logistics structures with structures in Poland. A Logistics Strategy for the Baltic states was also developed.

In the Czech Republic, a Supply Chain Management for the whole Unipetrol group was launched and a Logistics Strategy for the Group was developed.
