Recommend to a friendIn 2007, the volume of fuel sales by Mažeikių Nafta Trading House totalled 2,895 thousand tonnes, similar to the value reported in 2006.
Engine fuels
Active acquisition of new trade partners, including contracted supplies to the network of Statoil stations, resulted in an increase in petrol sales of 15.2 percent. The generated result was also positively affected by the increase in domestic consumption of E95 petrol. Lower diesel oil sales than last year were largely due to decreased production after the fire in 2006 and the consequent decrease in fuel exports, mainly to the Polish and Estonian markets.
Heating Oils
The fall in the sale of the heating oil resulted, in large measure, from production limitations related to incomplete use of the production capacity after the fire in 2006.
Aviation fuels
The key influence on the decline in aviation fuel sales was limitations in supply resulting from the fact that most of the fraction was used for diesel oil production for the purpose of improving the quality of this product.
Non-fuel products
The only non-fuel product provided by Mažeikių Nafta is sulphur, whose sales in 2007 totalled 65 thousand tonnes, which is 25 percent less than in 2006.
