In 2007, ORLEN Group functioned on the basis of a segment management structure. The Group operated in six segments: refinery, oil, wholesale, retail, petrochemical and chemical segments. All ORLEN Group companies were assigned to specific segments and support functions. Foreign companies such as AB Mažeikių Nafta and Unipetrol Holding, in which the solutions accepted in the ORLEN Group are subsequently being implemented, were incorporated into the segment management model.

The total value of sales transactions carried out in 2007 amounted to PLN 24,794,750 which, given the balance sheet value of the sold shares of PLN 19,151,750 generated a gross profit of PLN 5,643,000.
The revenues will help to finance the development of the core business of the Company.
In 2007, PKN ORLEN also donated 100 percent of shares in Wisła Płock SA for the benefit of the Municipality of Płock, and increased by PLN 1,489,340 its capital investment in Płocki Park Przemysłowo-Technologiczny (Industrial and Technological Park in Płock), in which it holds 50 percent of the share capital.
In 2007, ORLEN Group was expanded by one new company, ORLEN Finance AB, in which PKN ORLEN holds 100 percent of the share capital. The company is responsible for the efficient issuing of the Eurobonds.
