Recommend to a friendIn 2007, ORLEN Group carried out retail sales in Poland, Germany, the Czech Republic and Lithuania. The entities managing commercial operations on the respective markets were PKN ORLEN, ORLEN Deutschland, Benzina and Ventus Nafta.
The previous year was exceptionally successful for ORLEN Group: all retail networks generated large increases in sales of fuel and non-fuel products. At the end of 2007, ORLEN Group managed 2,775 fuel stations in the region which sold nearly 7 billion litres of fuel, i.e. appr. 10 percent more than in 2006. Approximately one third of all facilities were Premium fuel stations characterised by the highest service standard and offering the richest variety of fuel, non-fuel products and food services. The premium segment fuel stations in Poland and Lithuania were operating under the ORLEN brand, and in the Czech Republic under the Benzina Plus brand.

A lower cost Group offer and a less rich product range was available at stations operating under the following brands: Bliska (Poland), Star (Germany), Ventus (Lithuania) and Benzina (Czech Republic). Motorists using economy stations had fuels of verified quality with the purchase of products and services necessary for travel always guaranteed.
The overall margin generated by ORLEN Group in the retail segment was appr. 9 percent higher than in 2006. The value of sales of all non-fuel products and services increased in the report period by over 15 percent.
Due to its attractive commercial offer in Poland, the Czech Republic, Germany and Lithuania, ORLEN Group once again increased its annual shares in each of the retail markets in which it operated.
