Recommend to a friendIn 2007, the entities comprising the Group’s wholesale segment included 5 Regional Market Operators (RMO), Petrolot, ORLEN Gaz (Poland), Uniraf, Chemopetrol Polyolefi ns, Chemopetrol Agro Cracker (the Czech Republic) and Mažeikių Nafta Trading House (Lithuania).
ORLEN Group – Fuels
The total volume of fuels sold by ORLEN Group in 2007 amounted to 11,663 thousand tonnes [1] and was slightly higher than the sales generated in 2006. Diesel oil, whose sales increased by approximately 5 percent as compared to 2006,constituted over half of all the fuels offered. The highest sales dynamics were reported in the engine petrol segment, whose sales in 2007 exceeded the volume of the previous year by 7 percent. Sales of the light heating oil and JET A-1 aviation fuel fell by 28 and 5 percent respectively in comparison to 2006. Apart from customers in its domestic markets, ORLEN Group fuels were also provided to customers in Slovakia, Great Britain, the Netherlands, Estonia and Ukraine.
ORLEN Group – Non-fuel Products
Total wholesale sales of non-fuel products by ORLEN Group in 2007 amounted to 4,618.1 thousand tonnes, i.e. 8 percent higher than in 2006. The highest increase was reported for liquefi ed gas, heating oil and ortoxylene, whose sales in 2007 increased on average by approximately 30 percent compared to 2006. The key foreign customers for ORLEN Group non-fuel products were partners from Denmark, Germany and the Netherlands.
